Reece Jenkin Memorial Service Scheduled for March 14, 2026
It is with deep sadness that the Colfax School District shares the passing of our valued colleague and friend, Reece Jenkin, who passed away on Friday, February 27, following a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.

Reece faithfully served the Colfax School District for 20 years as Business Manager, providing steady leadership, integrity, and unwavering dedication to our students, staff, and community. In addition to his administrative leadership, Reece served for 18 years as head coach of the boys basketball team, mentoring generations of student-athletes and leaving a lasting mark on the lives of countless young people.

His dedication, compassion, and care for others defined his service. The impact of this loss is deeply felt by those who worked alongside him each day, as well as by many students, staff, athletes, families, friends, acquaintances, and community members he influenced and served throughout his career.

The district extends its heartfelt condolences to Reece’s family, friends, acquaintances, colleagues, former players, and all who knew and loved him.

A memorial service celebrating Reece’s life and legacy will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. in the Colfax Jr/Sr High School Gymnasium. Community members, former students and athletes, colleagues, friends, and acquaintances are invited to attend as we gather to honor his memory and the profound impact he had on all of us.
