Voter's Pamphlet Statements

Colfax School District is seeking applications from persons interested in being appointed to a committee to write the for/against statements for the Whitman County Local Voters’ Pamphlet related to the District’s following ballot measure, Replacement Educational Programs and Operation Levy, to be considered at the February 8, 2022 Special Election. Those interested should send their name, address, phone number and which position they represent to Jerry Pugh, Superintendent, Colfax School District, 1207 N. Morton St., Colfax, WA. 99111 or via email at [email protected] by November 19, 2021. The Board will take action on the appointments at its November 22, 2021 regular board meeting.

September 13th School Board Meeting

The regular meeting of the Colfax School District Board of Directors will be held in the Community Room at Colfax Junior/Senior High School. Face masks are required for all guests attending in person. The meeting will also be broadcast for those wishing to watch via live feed. A link will be posted on Monday. If you have questions for the board, please email them to [email protected] before 4:00 p.m. on Monday 9/13.

August 23rd School Board Meeting

The location of the August 23rd meeting of the Colfax School District Board of Directors is changed to the Community Room at the Jr/Sr High School. The regular meeting begins at 7 p.m. and is open to the public.

Notice of Public Hearing

The Colfax School District Board of Directors will conduct a public hearing on May 24, 2021 at 6:30 p.m. in the District Office Board Room regarding the District’s Washington LEA Academic and Student Well-being Recovery Plan. Immediately following the conclusion of the public hearing, the regular meeting will be called to order and immediately adjourn to Executive Session to interview a candidate for Director District #2.

Community Forum

The Colfax School District is inviting interested parties to participate in a Community Forum to meet and ask questions of the finalists for the Jennings Elementary School Principal position.
