Hi everyone! My name is Emily Bopp, and I'm the General Music Specialist and Director of Choirs. I'll also be taking the fore on the production of our CHS Musical in the fall. Your Colfax kids are incredible -- they are full of joyful noise at the elementary, and do a wonderful job of refining it at the junior/senior high for choir festivals & solo-ensemble competitions! General music curriculum goes through 5th grade, where they are also able to transition to band or choir. 

 

I grew up in Spokane and am so glad I landed back in Eastern Washington. I graduated in 2022 from Central Washington University with my Bachelor of Music in Music Education, Choral Endorsement, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in French. More recently, I graduated in 2024 with my Master of Arts in Musicology from the University of Oregon.
