In addition to our successful athletic program, Colfax Jr/Sr High School also offers rich extracurricular opportunities for students to practice leadership, learn new skills, grow friendships and make lifetime memories. We encourage students to join one or more clubs / activities.

This foundation helps set the stage for our outstanding junior and high school music programs. Our junior/senior high bands play at venues throughout the region, and regularly receive top honors in state and regional competitions. Unique aspects of our program include working with conductors from local colleges and universities.

Musical

Every year, our music program performs (to a full house) a full length musical production involving students from elementary, junior and senior high. Community members help design costumes for the cast, and build and paint stage props. Auditions are held early in the school year (September), with the production in November.
